Renderball for ChatGPT
Ask ChatGPT for a deck. Finish it in Renderball.
There is nothing to install. Tell ChatGPT where the instructions are and it writes the presentation itself; Renderball designs and renders it and gives you one link to a deck you can edit. Connect it as an app if you want your decks kept in an account.
No setup: one sentence
In ChatGPT on the web or the desktop app, where it can make web requests, say:
Build a deck on renderball.com about our onboarding for new customers, 5 pages.
Instructions are at renderball.com/for-ai. Our brand is Yourcompany, accent #1F6FEB.ChatGPT reads the recipe, writes the deck, sends it in, and gives you one link. No account, no key. On the phone app ChatGPT may not have web tools; use the web or desktop version for this.
Or connect it as an app
- In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode (availability depends on your plan).
- Choose Create, name it Renderball, and paste this address with authentication set to OAuth:
https://renderball.com/api/mcp/account - Sign in with Renderball when asked. From then on your decks land in your account and ChatGPT can list them.
What ChatGPT does
- Starts the deck with your brief, the brand it knows, and a page-by-page outline. Renderball answers with the writing brief: the format, your brand facts, the rules.
- Writes the whole deck itself, on its own plan. Every number has to come from your material; nothing is invented.
- Sends the file in. Renderball checks it against the brief, repairs small slips, renders every page with motion, and hands the rendered pages back as images, so ChatGPT looks at its own work and fixes overlaps or clipped text before you see anything.
- Gives you one link. It shows the deck; its Edit button opens the editor, where you move, rewrite, regenerate or animate any element, and share it.
Try this
Something like this, in your own words. Give the brand name and only the colours you actually know; ChatGPT never guesses a colour.
Use Renderball to make a 5-page deck introducing our product to a new customer:
the problem, how we solve it, why it's different, the next step.
Our brand is Yourcompany, accent colour #1F6FEB. Give me the link when it's ready. What it costs
Nothing to try. Editing is free, forever. Generation is metered per token, and the first million tokens are free, about three full decks. A deck made without an account is limited to a few per day and disappears after 7 days unless you sign in through its Edit button, which makes it yours.
Questions
- Which way should I use?
- The one-sentence way to try it. The app way once you want your decks kept together and no daily limits.
- Will ChatGPT invent numbers?
- No. The deck is checked against your brief, and anything not in your material is flagged, not filled in.
- Where do I edit?
- In the editor on renderball.com, at the link you get back. Its Edit button signs you in and makes the deck yours; every element is real and editable.
- What about the brand?
- Give the name and only the colours and fonts you actually know. ChatGPT passes them on as they are and never guesses a colour; the deck uses neutral styling when nothing is given.
